I’m Emma, Maternity, Newborn & Family Photographer based in Ulverston, Cumbria.

Capturing my own two girls from such a young age has always been a passion of mine. It was from this, that my husband bought me my first ever camera in lockdown. It started off as a hobby but I was so eager and intrigued how to work the camera. I took myself off to night school to complete a photography course and just absolutely loved learning my way around the camera. I attended a newborn photography training day and came away thinking ‘wow’ this would be my dream job!

I had always pictured myself working with babies and children and at one time had thought of becoming a midwife, However, it never turned out this way and I ended up spending 14 years working for the NHS as an administrator.

In October 2023, I decided to take the leap of faith and dedicate all of my time into growing my business. I moved from my little studio at home and now situated in County Studios in the most perfect space to create a natural, effortless and all round enjoyable photoshoot experience for my clients.

I feel honoured to capture the most special moments in your life and look forward to meeting you and your little ones.
